2. Are we a workcover provider or a health fund provider ?

Yes, Our therapists are qualified to provide treatments for workcover, but with the health funds and insurance companies it depends on who you are with and whether or not our therapists have paid to become a provider for that company.  If you would like to know wether or not we can provide treatments for your health fund provider , you can contact us through the contact page .

4. Do we sell any retail items or products?

Yes MCHE has a retail shop providing products direct to the public and by mail order. We stock an extensive range of essential & carrier oils, bottles, shampoos, conditioners and associated Aromatherapy products. Other Massage Therapy products available include Massage Tables, Heat Packs, Anatomical Charts & Equipment and a variety of associated textbooks. We also sell Gift vouchers for all our products.

5. Will I learn reflexology at MCHE?

No,we do not teach reflexology but you will learn foot massage which covers most of the reflexology points.

Yes at MCHE all courses are accredited by the Office of Training and Tertiary Education (OTTE) Health Training Package. This ensures our courses and facilities abide by current education regulations and requirements and enables students to apply for Austudy, Abstudy and Youth Allowance.

8. Once qualified from the course do I need insurance/membership ?

Yes, after you qualify you will need certain insurances depending on the occupation, but while you are a student here at MCHE we provide the insurance

9. After I qualify am I eligible to become a health fund provider?

Yes, Providing you meet the qualification standard set by Individual health funds.

11. Do we provide pregnancy massages?

Yes here at MCHE we have a pregnancy table available for those pregnant.

12. What types of massage do you teach and perform

At MCHE we teach and perform a large variety of massage including Pressure Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Womans & Infant massage, Geriatric & Special Needs, Sports Massage and Relaxation Massage. All of these techniques are all used in our clinic by our Therapists and students

13. How many days a week must I come in if I enrol in the course?

Depending on which course you have chosen to study the days can vary from 3 days a week to only one day a week.

15. Do you teach aromatherapy or pressure point therapy?

In addition to the compulsory Health Package Units, MCHE includes Aromatherapy and Pressure Point Therapy (PPT) in the Training Schedule. These Units are an integral part of the course at MCHE and we wish to continue with these units. MCHE is proud of the quality of the therapists that graduate each intake. Former students are working Australia wide and some are experiencing overseas engagements. Some former students also enjoy working with Australia's State, National and International Sporting teams.
